Ms. Burke is a fourth-generation Houstonian, with strong ties to the State of Texas. She began her legal career working for one of the oldest and most estabished maritime personal injury law firms in the world in the Spring of her first year of law school, 1999.
Since that time, she has focused her litigation practice on personal injury and wrongful death claims. She made a name for herself, connecting with law firms across the country through her management of new case intake and referrals. Ms. Burke has handled personal injury and wrongful death claims nationally for over 10 years.
Ms. Burke previously clerked for Bet Tzedek Legal Services in Los Angeles, California, practicing poverty law, represented indigent immigration clients through the University of Houston Legal Aid Clinic, and interned in Texas family court.
She has gained extensive recognition for her successful online marketing efforts and intake department creation and management. She deals with clients of every case type on a daily basis. She is known nationally for her legal web marketing and social media marketing efforts.
Ms. Burke joined Watts Guerra in 2011.

Ms. Burke spends her time outside of work with her two young daughters, both of whom attend The Kinkaid School, and her French Bulldog Ruby.
